Johnnie Walker. Keep Walking. Starring Robert Carlyle, this is a very interesting way of educating the general public about one’s brand. A video format that’s awe inspiring. The craft is great. I happened to chance upon the Johnnie Walker website while i was doing a little bit of research and i realized that there’s a new campaign, well, the website had so many things, but i digress, that’s another story. So, right when you enter the site, it plays the video. Bagpipes, whatever, i wasn’t even paying attention enough to realize it was a video. Took me a while. Then it played. Robert Carlyle, that’s interesting. Haven’t seen him in a movie or on TV for a while. He then starts walking through the screen, and it’s amazing how he seems to be walking throughout the whole video. That reminded me of the tagline ‘Keep Walking’ but i became genuinely interested in the video content, not just for the craft anymore, but i was interested to know the story. Great execution of a true story about a young lad named John, A young lad who one day went for a walk and built the foundation for the most widely distributed quality Scotch in the world. Johnnie Walker. Keep Walking. Amazing.
